The Science Policy Initiative (SPI) and Biology Outreach and Inclusion Program (BOIP) are working to support local schools during virtual learning through our Virtual Science program! We pair UVA scientists with local classrooms for virtual visits, where our scientists discuss everything from their research projects, to a career as a scientist, to general science topics. Our scientists will work with each teacher to make sure that their presentation is informative and relevant to each specific class. Our goal is to give students an insider's view on the research being done here at UVA and to help generate an excitement for science in local students!
